Micro irrigation involves irrigation of plants in the field through precise technology through dripand sprinkler irrigation systems. Under the schemes of Government, Department provides assistance to the farmers in tune of 90% of the unit cost. This scheme is in operation since 2005-06, it is implemented as National Mission for Micro Irrigation since 2010-11 and it is being implemented as Micro Irrigation Scheme under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojna (PMKSY) from 2015-16 in the State.
